The mouth-watering smell of a hog roast floating between the stalls, fairy lights delicately twinkling overhead, traditional carols forming a magical melody in the background – you just can’t beat that merry market atmosphere.

As well as a wonderful way to get into the festive spirit, Devon’s Christmas markets will leave you spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful artisan gifts. Every year, local makers flock to various markets across the county to showcase their handmade crafts. We’re very lucky in Devon to have such a wealth of talented local artisans who are passionate about reintroducing people to the charm and individuality of handmade goods.
