Devon artisan Christmas market guide

Devon artisan Christmas market guide

It’s that rather magical time of the year when the days get shorter, the air turns crisper, and most importantly, the whispers of Christmas start to get louder. Children eagerly scribble down their wish lists, mince pies stand to attention on supermarket shelves, Christmas jumpers emerge from the depths of wardrobes all over the nation. There’s a tangible buzz of anticipation in the air, for Christmas is on its way.

What better way to get into the festive spirit than to visit one of Devon’s charming Christmas markets or seasonal events, where local makers and artisans gather with their beautiful handcrafted products. We are lucky to have such an abundance of talented creatives in our county who have a real passion for traditional crafts and who endeavour to reintroduce people to the charm and individuality of handmade products. There are a number of fairs, markets and events taking place across Devon in the run up to Christmas, and all are sure to inject some festive warmth into the chilly weeks ahead.
